Funny how a team managed Dave Roberts has become, to me, massively unlikeable. I was neutral in last year's WS, but Machado's presence guarantees that if it's a rematch of last year's WS, I want the Astros to sweep, winning every game 20-0. It really is fated that Machado's going to sign with the Yankees …

Brewers just look flat. First time I've seen them without any swagger all post season. They better find something before Game 6...

The stopped clock tells the right time as Joe West briefly becomes a force for good.

Bad call. MB just clean missed that (and the fans didn't make contact with him over the railing anyway.)

This wasn't fan interference a few years ago...

I’ve got to disagree. There’s no way his glove closes unless the spectator pushes it. He was going to catch that.

Not being a homer here, but that was interference. The fan in orange pushes the glove closed.

Mmmmaybe. Looks to me like he whiffed on it, but I would think that, wouldn't I? :shifty:

The other thing is that the ball was over the fence --

Complicated, as I understand it, by the fans seemingly reaching over. There was a replay angle that could have settled it, but the security guard was blocking the view. That said, if the call on the field was home run, yeah, it should stand—it was sufficiently ambiguous.
