I mean he doesn't even need to be who he was for us during the 2nd half of the year, although I'd love that. Right now he slots in as our 4th starter, and he's about as good a 4th starter as you could realistically hope for. Also getting him for half the price of Corbin (albeit across 2 less years) is just fine by me. I just hope he doesn't need to go under the knife again. 2 TJs already...

There is no Year ____ version of Eovaldi. There's "Was it Jekyll or Hyde who got out of bed this morning?"

Yeah I know there was some level of interest and even ARod was lobbying for the Yankees to sign him. By all accounts he's a great teammate. I hope he does well against every team but the Yankees.

And did I mention he has good stuff?
