Middle of the night, I rolled over and my left shoulder, which has crunching and pinching painfully, let out a horrible cracking sound—like a bone being broken—but it feels so much better now. A bit tender, but I've got more range with my left arm now without the painful pinching.
Ouch. I've done that a few times. Feels better after.
I can't remember one of my bones ever making that kind of sound before—that volume and sharpness—but, yeah, it did feel better. It's still popping a bit this morning, but it doesn't hurt nearly as much and I'm feeling more confident to do gutsy stuff like, you know, reach for things. Stupid defective body.

I legged out a triple today but tweaked a muscle slightly. Maybe there's something to this "stretching" thing.

I get it. I've been doing floor stretches each morning for years before I do anything, otherwise it just seems like I'm more prone to pulling something, particularly in my lower back.

Hello,

It's not stretching - it's warming up. Make sure your body (muscles) is (are) warm - you may want to actually jog around for a few minutes before the game and legging it to third.

That's super appealing. If I were able to drive, I'd be tempted to invest in a kayak to explore some of the lakes and waterways.
