Back when I biked outdoors, I found that I was stronger and had more stamina in hot and humid weather. Like, not heat stroke hot (I went out a few times when it was crazy hot and literally felt nauseous) but seriously muggy. Sweated like a fiend, but my legs just felt good all the way thru.

3/3, 1 run, 1 rbi and 3 put outs in left field. I hit a sharp ground to short and a tricky hop hit the SS in the nuts.

No beers though.

I kind of felt bad, it took him down hard. He high fived me later.

I once hit a line drive back and hit the pitcher in the nuts. I was less sorry because he was a real asshole, but I had to pretend I felt bad (I was also, like, 15, and bitter about lots of stuff anyway).

I get it I felt bad for the guy and at the time I didn't realize who he was (we played together last year on a team).
Ive hit the pitcher a LOT over the years, never intentionally and only once was I sort of happy about it (it was unplanned payback). Its a definite hazard of the position. I caught a line drive coming at my crotch once when I was pitching in my teens. Caught it in the palm and my hand was so sore, thankfully it was my hand.

More softball shenanigans tonight. Some dude tries going to right where we had an obviously week fielder. Instead pops it up to me just short of 1b and in the baseline. I catch it and he keeps coming at me so I defensively tagged him when he got close. It all happened real fast I said sorry eventhough it wasn't necessary and he got the look of a killer in his eyes. Doesn't say anything, just is looking at me, so I ask "are you hurt"? He walks away still saying nothing and still looking like he'd like to slit my throat.

Later he's pitching and trying to get all fancy throwing me lots of junk til I hit a liner to left center and he sulked some more.

Yeah its a league. I know people on my team (we were together last year) and a few from other teams but mostly not.
