Flashed a little leather at 1b too.
But perhaps the play of the game came when a guy on the sidelines was playing music on a BT speaker. He asked something about keeping playing it or not. He happened to be playing Journey at the time so I matter of factly told yeah turn that shit off. I was only half serious but the dude took it quite seriously even when I said it was ok. The look on his face said all. I rarely intend to intimidate anyone but sometimes I do with my size and body language. Whenever I went to 1b he turned down the music.
Also its no wonder why I have so few friends.

Back in my home town and ran into some dudes I hadn't seen since high school. They looked 10 years older than they are. Like how I remember 50yo people looking like when I was a kid.

I had that experience a couple years ago when, out of insincere curiosity, I looked up a bunch of people from high school on Facebook. They mostly look a good decade older than me, fat and just beaten up. Kinda felt okay about myself for the rest of the day.

We used to go to this biker bar in Lake George. We'd hang around the jukebox. Whenever anyone played a Journey song, we'd kick the jukebox and the record would skip forward - if we were lucky, it'd skip a whole lot forward. If anyone came up and looked at the jukebox (or us) funny, we'd tell them "Yeah, the Journey record skips all the time.".

Re: Middle age health thread for fatties

Re: Middle age health thread for fatties
Thanks. Luckily, I never really acquired the taste or developed the tolerance for it. Know quite a lot about it, though, because of my Dad. What's the alcoholic equivalent of gaydar? Whatever it is, i've definitely got it. Actually i've got both of them lol I've had some top class spots over the years!
I might just be my imagination, but i've started noticing more and more of my generation 'opting out' like Keith Flint. Or maybe you just notice it more when the poor buggers are roughly the same age as you.

I think I saw a thread for non-drunks a few years ago - not sure, I was drunk.
