Hello,

That's good for snow and sand but really slow.
Just put it together today.
While it is slower than my regular bike but it has some decent cruising gears and I can ride places I normally couldn't in the winter. It wouldn't be practical un a lot of places. It is more of a workout though. First day and Im having fun with it

You've become one of those weirdos whom I see and think, it's fucking winter, bubba!.

Just took it on another ride, mostly flat but some of the terrain was pretty rough. I'll do the same or similar ride in nice weather with my mountain bike. The funny thing is it took around the same amount of time (a little longer) but it was at least twice the workout. My legs were jelly when I went down in the basement to wash my wet and dirty clothes. Fun times. Plus I was so beat I skipped the bar all together.

Ugh, jelly legs. That was something I always hated about the first couple rides of the season. I always over-estimated where I was at and paid a deep price when it was over.

Even though I'm a runner (jogger?), when I ride my bike, it feels like a totally different set of muscles get used, so I can relate to the "jelly legs".

Well, I'm doing my prep today. I'm nervous and famished already.

Honestly, prep is the worst part, just get through it and you won't have to worry about it for another 5-10 years.

Hopefully by then they'll come up with a better way of doing this.
