Holy crap. I was about to concede that the magic had run out, but suddenly they're up one and I have to continue watching.

I will fall asleep within five minutes of getting into bed, guaranteed. I tend to fall asleep quickly anyway, but my snooze is on a hair trigger right now.

I believe the Jays DFA'd Hudson early this season. Now he's going to come in to close out the deciding game of the World Series.

The difference between Greinke and the Astros' bullpen is an illustration of the fact that relievers are guys who aren't good enough to be starters. They chumped this game away.

Everything turned around after I called out Flex for fucking things up. I'd better get a ring.

Yes and no. Maybe can't cut it as starters for whatever reason but a good reliever is I'd almost say as good as a good starter. But a mediocre reliever is... well ... not worth much.

Yeah Inder can you lock Flex out for the next 10 min or so. We don't need him coming in here and fucking this up.

A good reliever can get you a few outs. But he doesn't have the skill to go several times thru the order. As great as Rivera was, there's a reason why he wasn't a starter. His brilliant stuff only played out over an inning or two.

Anyway, one out to go …
