Hmmm, the Astros seem serious about this winning-a-championship thing. Apparently the Red Sox and Yankees are more into other, non-championship-winning stuff.
Our big move was obtaining backup catcher Max Stassi (from the Astros) who carries a .446 OPS in his 60ish games this year. Add him to our three other catchers who are also out of options and World Series, HERE WE COME!

So an ex-coworker just came in and she told me that she went to see The Dodgers and Red Sox at Fenway a few weeks ago, she said "80% of the people there were Dodger fans" and she said it was so loud because the way they close the roof. I didn't want to argue with her, but did she maybe find an LA themed sports bar and think she was at the stadium? If so I sure hope she didn't pay $60 to get in!

Maybe "close the roof" is code for letting non-whites know they should keep quiet?

I'm quite sure there is no LA sports bar near Fenway.

I went to a Nationals game in DC when they were playing the Rockies and saw a single Rockies fan in attendance so I like to talk about how Colorado "took over" that night.
