Not long to go now. 8 July the first in 3 tests against the West Indies, going to be great, let's just hope we see some rippers like this again!

Test cricket returning tomorrow, working sadly but BBC have the highlights on so I'll be glued to those. Interesting to see how new captain Stokes fares.

Hopefully he will cope OK. He has a lot on his plate already as an all rounder but Jason Holder seems to manage it fine.

Stokes seems to thrive on pressure however the captaincy isn’t a step too far you don’t want him to lose that edge.

Like Lax says, he has a lot on his plate being that all rounder. Can see the pressure getting to him to be honest and not scoring as high as he possibly could. Having said that, given his ferocity, he'll certainly be out to get a few wickets though.

Might depend upon who they select, including instead of Root. Stokes might move up the order and they then pick an extra bowler so he doesn't have to do much bowling.

I haven’t had a chance to watch it but looks like Stokes is doing well 46 & 43 plus a 4 wicket bag?

Sibley and Stokes both did a great job getting the runs on the board. The track just got dodgy enough for our second new ball to make inroads, just when it looked like it was going to turn into a dull draw. Quick runs and declaration followed by early wickets put England in a strong position. Brooks and Chase batted well and looked to have blunted our attack but it only needs one wicket to change things, which Stokes managed and in the end they won with an hour to spare. Tricky thing now for both teams will be selecting the teams for the final games. Shannon Gabriel was superb in the first test but looked exhausted in the second one. Hopefully WI have him wrapped in cotton wool until Friday. Same with Joseph and also Stokes, both looked like they were carrying injuries by the end of the game.

Thanks Lax!

To tell you the truth 101 I've taped the highlights but bot had a minute to watch them. Didn't stop me from checking the BBC sport updates on my phone though! A good win by the sounds of it, Stokes certainly doing his bit. Though this needs to continue game in, game out, got a good team here.
