Rugby World Cup
Is anybody watching / interested or just me?
Re: Rugby World Cup
I'll be watching if it's on free TV. Don't think I've seen a Rugby match since the last World Cup. Are the All Blacks still head and shoulders above the rest?
Who pfaffed the pfaff? Who got pfaffed tonight?

The No.1 team in the world is ........Ireland. It's true.*

I am very interested but being on Japan time makes it a challenge to watch. I really enjoy watching the game, I find it so much more interesting than futbol.
I have no idea who is good this time around (the Kiwis are always a good bet). Who have you got?

Re: Rugby World Cup
It will be the most open cup ever. I still have New Zealand favourites, just, but England, South Africa not far behind. Then you have Wales and Ireland who could also win it. I don’t think Australia can win it but they will beat one of the favourites along the way.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑20 Sep 2019, 11:15amI am very interested but being on Japan time makes it a challenge to watch. To win the cup you basically have to win 4 big games back to back and Wales / Ireland aren’t historically good at that outside 6 Nations.
NZ vSA tonight will be interesting.

Yeah the rankings are a joke.Low Down Low wrote: ↑20 Sep 2019, 11:10amThe No.1 team in the world is ........Ireland. It's true.*

Ireland lost 3/4 games including being taken apart by England but because they beat Wales (also stuffed by England) who were ranked #1 at the time, Ireland shoot to the top of the rankings.

Should be a real arm wrestle unlike the very average opening game between Japan and Russia.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑20 Sep 2019, 11:10pmIve got this one set to record.101Walterton wrote: ↑

I am going ABs by 12.

Couple of nice tries, your prediction looking good at the moment.101Walterton wrote: ↑21 Sep 2019, 12:03amShould be a real arm wrestle unlike the very average opening game between Japan and Russia.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑20 Sep 2019, 11:10pmIve got this one set to record.101Walterton wrote: ↑

I was close. SA actually not as good as I thought they would be. They only did well when the game broke down, they looked average when they had possession and didn’t seem to have a plan??laxman wrote: ↑21 Sep 2019, 6:22amCouple of nice tries, your prediction looking good at the moment.101Walterton wrote: ↑21 Sep 2019, 12:03amShould be a real arm wrestle unlike the very average opening game between Japan and Russia.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑20 Sep 2019, 11:10pmIve got this one set to record.101Walterton wrote: ↑

I was only half watching, the 20/20 finals day is on too. Looked like the injuries were racking up by the ed.101Walterton wrote: ↑21 Sep 2019, 7:53amI was close. Yep, doubt anyone is fooled by it, i wouldnt even have ireland ahead of wales tbh, though cant say i am the best judge or anything. Just always been a Gatland fan and, if NZ are vulnerable, i'm giving the taffs a squeak of being the ones to take them down.101Walterton wrote: ↑20 Sep 2019, 6:08pmYeah the rankings are a joke.Low Down Low wrote: ↑20 Sep 2019, 11:10amThe No.1 team in the world is ........Ireland. Re: Rugby World Cup
Looked like winners long way from the finish, fantastic watching them throw the ball around, could actually be a good thing for Ireland but dont look likely to be at business end of tournament on that showing.101Walterton wrote: ↑28 Sep 2019, 9:00amYou are correct the rankings are not the best guide well done Japan deserved victory.Low Down Low wrote: ↑20 Sep 2019, 11:10amThe No.1 team in the world is ........Ireland.
