I really don’t need to give McConnell another opportunity to prove what a giant wretched shitbag he is, but here we go.

RIP to a great woman.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Does anyone think Mittens and Murkowski will break with the party over this? I recall Grassley, when fed this hypothetical, said he'd be opposed. But, yeah, I ain't holding my breath.

I lean to that. He's positioned himself to be the leader of the GOP should Trump and his allies get thumped. So has a lot of interest in trying to stop McConnell, or at least extracting something. Which isn't to say he'd be successful, only that he's got more in the bank for saying he didn't go along with the madness (except for, well, most of his voting record)> Sp

I'm thinking very seriously about leaving the states when we're allowed into other countries. As long as they don't seal us in, USSR style. There's no coming back from this in my lifetime.

A definite Sabbath fan and yes I have a certain affinity for those first 2 Ozzy albums.

I’m a Bark at the Moon fan myself. I love that era of metal. It was no holds barred fun. I went to see Ozzy on that tour with my cousin. Every few songs Ozzy’s costume went more Werewolf. Good stuff.

Played that with my covers band. Really really fun part on the drums, respect.
