One of the few country singers to have a big UK hit. Memorable song.

Just yesterday he tweeted a bunch of his right wing bullshit.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

It's too bad he turned into such a shithead because a few of his old albums were pretty good.

Sad news. RIP Big Jack.

I love his retaliation on Peter Osgood here and neither of them even get a booking!

Same, but as an American who doesn't follow soccer it is what immediately came to mind when I heard the news this morning.

Truth be told, i hated his football philosophy. But can't argue about his legacy or the joy he brought thousands of people. RIP.

Both really. Hated seeing technically gifted players reduced to hoofball just to get results. No place for a footballing genius like Liam Brady etc. Never sat right with me. As did the granny rule stuff. But Jacks job was to deliver results and obviously never cared much for anybody's opinion on how he delivered them!
