It needs a Costco logo on it.

Wow, what a shitty looking stadium. Looks like a late 70's style hockey arena.

What's wrong with DH? Ron Bloomeberg was the first one, and now he's mayor of New York. Badda Bing!

Im with Doc and Im not sure who else on the DH. The whole strategy thing is way overblown. To bunt or not to bunt most of the time and most are worse bunters than hitters. It usually seems to make for a much less interesting outcome.

Re: MLB 2020
Since the Orioles opened Camden Yard and launched the trend of attractive and interesting ballparks, is this the first genuinely ugly looking one? Can't think of another new ballpark that just looks cheap and ugly.tepista wrote: ↑24 Jun 2020, 6:16pmThe internet has a word about the new Texas stadium

Definitely, especially that home run fish. Wikipedia says it was built at the same time as Camden (opening a year later), so it wasn't part of the post-Camden eye-pleasing parks. That crack house that the White Sox play in also opened around the same time.WestwayKid wrote: ↑24 Jun 2020, 7:07pmThe one in Miami is pretty ugly.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑24 Jun 2020, 6:55pmSince the Orioles opened Camden Yard and launched the trend of attractive and interesting ballparks, is this the first genuinely ugly looking one? I think Marlins Park was opened in 2012...so no excuse for building such an ugly stadium. It also has one of those awful sliding roofs. It took awhile to get used to the roof at Miller Park, but it opens like a fan...so it looks a lot nicer.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑24 Jun 2020, 7:20pmDefinitely, especially that home run fish. The White Sox park is a mess. Very generic when it was opened. They have at least attempted to retrofit the park to make it look retro...but only so much one can do.

Whoops, you're right about Marlins Park. Okay, Rangers Turkey Cooker, you're sort of off the hook.WestwayKid wrote: ↑24 Jun 2020, 7:33pmI think Marlins Park was opened in 2012...so no excuse for building such an ugly stadium. Re: MLB 2020
I'm fine with the DH although I did always like that it made a very clear definition between the two leagues.
Starting the 10th with a man on second doesn't sit well with me. I always liked those games that went 6 or 7 hours. Games where you'd glance at the tv and be like, "They're still playing?!". This rule seems gimmicky to me and robs us seeing a backup infielder get to pitch the 15th inning.
