Sweet action for kids 'n' cretins. Marjoram and capers.

Let me pick your brain

What is your gut reaction to a book entitled Rusted Wings?

Genre? Does it intrigue you, confuse you, etc?

Immediate thought is of a grizzled old pilot. Where it might go from there, tho, I don't have any idea.

Second thought is that horrible Mr. Mister song "Broken Wings." Hopefully I'm in a minority there.

I thought folks might pick up a fantasy vibe, but I for reals never thought a grizzled pilot. Hahaha It makes sense.

I hate coming up with titles.

My favourite gag title:

Better yet, the organization that handles that stuff was very unamused.

Dunno about genre but my first thought is of someone stuck in a rut. I like it though.

I kind of picture it as a gritty tale of dirt poor rural America in the middle of the 20th century.

I’d go with Wings, Rusted.

All the songs that just weren't good enough for McCartney to release in the 70s!

That does sound like an outtakes collection.

Okay. It's all over the map.

Does the title Princess bring any erotic connotations? I had book once slip right on into the erotica category on Amazon because of the title.

No, but I'm a big fan of the Princess Bride so that might alter my perception. Say what you like about Wesley and Buttercup: they never fucked.

No quite the opposite. When I think of the terms of princess and princesses I think of all those poor little girls being fed that Disney crap about princesses.

Well, this is a young adult psychological thriller. The father of the main character calls her princess and well...she's far from it. Although she is a spoiled rich girl.
