Ha....that post doesn't work without the context of the original tweet in which Rishi Sunak suggested to ITV that musicians would have to go and retrain for other jobs. ITV then deleted it!

Glad to hear you got the all-clear Heston but isolating at home is still a bugger. Have a Merry Criss-mas in the meantime

Re: Coronavirus Thread of Doom
Good to hear buddy. I'm getting tested this morning. The three year old in preschool has a runny nose so she's home all week and we are all getting tested. I'm supposed to go into the office on Thursday, so I have to pay for the expensive, speedy, out of network testing (it's an American thing to have to pay for basic health care if you haven't heard). This is going to be fun to have to do this every single time she has a minor sickness (to clarify, I know it's the right thing to do, I just wish the timing on testing wasn't so damn long).
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Good luck and if you do have to isolate, you have to review all of Clarence Clemons' solo work for us.matedog wrote: ↑06 Oct 2020, 11:44amGood to hear buddy. I'm getting tested this morning.
