Then around 11pm or so (so, about 12 hours later) I had a fever spike and just the worst chills I can remember ever feeling (I was shaking so bad I dropped my toothbrush) and spent the night alternating between shaking chills and sweating through my bedsheets. Also, aches all over my body throughout the night and morning. I was probably delirious enough I didn't really know what I was doing. Anyways, the missus had been seeing her parents and came back Saturday morning and got my fever broken with some Tylenol and so I was just back to feeling mostly tired and foggy brained the rest of the day as I kept my tylenol dosage up.
By Sunday morning I was totally fine.
Addedum: I think if I'd just thought to take Tylenol around hour 11 after the shot I could have controlled a lot of the symptoms, so thats my big recommendation.

We were. Yikes.
And Wally was still with us.

Got two less grandparents a year later (0 from COVID as far as we know). Seemingly got a false positive as well, but otherwise grateful. Six months at home with the toddler was rough, but we made it through and got some good quality time with her.matedog wrote: ↑05 Mar 2020, 11:56amI'm not keen on the toddler getting a nasty virus. Or having to take care of a toddler while I have a nasty virus, that's no fun. Sure, it is highly unlikely that it would kill us, but I do have grandparents (though I hope the one far along with dementia would catch it and go).
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I know. You don't have to go back that far in our most active threads to see George Best.

I heard from a frontline medical friend this weekend that everyone's favourite online retailer has been delaying reporting positive cases in Ontario warehouses to keep their numbers just below the threshold that requires them to shut down. Basically sitting on results until there's room to add them to the covid list.
