To Mark, everything with a population of more than 25 is New York City.WestwayKid wrote: ↑17 Sep 2020, 8:36amI guarantee it's actually in Jersey.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑17 Sep 2020, 8:15amAh, but a New York City Holiday Inn. Re: The Mark Trail Thread of Punching Justice and Smug Life Lessons
This story arc is becoming incredibly tedious. I think we need at least another week's worth of strips regarding Mark's torment on whether or not he should attend the awards dinner. It would be cool if he decided to go at the last minute, but then found that the Hoboken Holiday Inn was booked up. He could then fret about making the journey back to Lost Forrest or sleeping in his car in a McDonald's parking lot.

To be fair, Andy has been his trusted companion since the 1940's.

This month: Destitute, Mark is forced into prostitution on the mean streets of Hoboken! There's just one problem: He doesn't know what sex is.WestwayKid wrote: ↑17 Sep 2020, 8:59amThis story arc is becoming incredibly tedious. Mark picked Cherry up that ONE drunken night at the Rod n Reel when Andy had an overnight at the vet and she never left, brought her drug addict father with her too and some vagabond orphan. Mark vowed to never drink anything stronger than water or lemonade he made himself. When he ordered lemonade at the Rod n Reel they assumed he meant hard lemonade. He's paid for that mistake many times over.WestwayKid wrote: ↑17 Sep 2020, 9:00amTo be fair, Andy has been his trusted companion since the 1940's.

It seems Marks plans for Tabby have been thwarted.

I had the opposite take: "That fucking cat. Not a wound on her … yet."

It seems like the fox is chasing the rabbit, but his casual crossed legs also make it seem like it's lounging.WestwayKid wrote: ↑18 Sep 2020, 8:48amThat nature scene in panel 2 is really odd looking.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑18 Sep 2020, 8:09amI had the opposite take: "That fucking cat. And then Andy is a "great animal".
Not sure what kind of animal?
Perhaps he can do some research, write an article and maybe finally win that award Cherry wants so badly.

Re: The Mark Trail Thread of Punching Justice and Smug Life Lessons
Theory: Andy has actually been writing all of Mark's copy. Mark is an imbecile (plenty of evidence for that) and without his canine puppetmaster putting proper words in his mouth, he reveals himself. Get better, Andy, so you can go to Hoboken and get your award!revbob wrote: ↑18 Sep 2020, 9:21amIts also unusually red.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑18 Sep 2020, 9:02amIt seems like the fox is chasing the rabbit, but his casual crossed legs also make it seem like it's lounging.WestwayKid wrote: ↑18 Sep 2020, 8:48amThat nature scene in panel 2 is really odd looking.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑18 Sep 2020, 8:09amI had the opposite take: "That fucking cat.
