I think Mark just killed a couple people in panel 3.
This particular strip comes across as a very lazily drawn...let's have 3 panels of this roughly drawn boat marina.

I really have come to like the art. It can be clumsy and “cartoony,” but she’s quite adept at conveying action.

Y’all: it’s good.
Art: Yes.
Story/Characterization: No. It's Mary Worth/Judge Parker/Rex Morgan soap opera.

Something that hasn't really been shared as much in this thread so far because it doesn't lend itself to snark, but I've been pretty impressed with the sunday edu-tainment installments. Jules has a background in the sciences and I think finding and relaying that kind of info is a strong suit.

They've certainly been improving, as they also include advocacy in the material. Under the old writer/artist, I usually skipped the Sunday strips, but these have arguably been better than the core work.

It’s the only one my paper carried as a kid. For years I thought it was a weird educational strip (that I loved, because animals). Had no idea he had adventures.

Yeah had I seen it as a kid I would no doubt felt the same but I never saw Mark Trail until my early 20s.

I can't remember where I first came across it. Was it ever in Highlights or Boy's Life? I don't think my local paper carried it.
