Here's one: The exploited are a good band to listen to.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

You seriously think Crystal Skull is better than Raiders of the Lost Ark? Not even Spielbergo or Ford would say that while promoting Crystal Skull.

If you are looking for a band for the purpose of the act of listening, I guess they accomplish the basics.

Was such a good day when I realised bands I love don't need me to intervene as free PR whenever a different opinion to mine was expressed.
Ditching the devil of fandom is such a release. That you don't need that validation from others to confirm your enjoyment. It's cool when someone else likes the same stuff because it might help build a relationship or further one, but, oh no, other people don't like my obsessions, what will I do?! Silly in retrospect, but I remember when it mattered.

I will entertain the argument that it’s the third best. I don’t know that it is, but I will entertain it.

I probably would rank it ahead of Temple of Doom if only because it has a lighter spirit of adventure that is found in Raiders and Last Crusade. That is, it feels more a part of the great two than Temple does. Crystal Skull also isn't contaminated by the ugly racialized stereotypes of Temple. In short, Skull's flaws aren't as egregious as Temple's—it's debit column isn't as great.

Im not bothered by it either but amongst certain people I will sometimes have a little back n forth with some people. Most of my musical choices have been unpopular or unknown by the vast majority of people with whom I have interacted with.

The Pogues are fun for an album or so* and then I don’t need to hear them again for 6-8 months.

*that album is usually Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash
I’m about the same with the albums but happy to hear ‘the hits’ any time.

I don't listen to the Pogues a lot but when I do I love them. I gave Rum and If I Should Fall a spin last week and both sounded marvellous.
