AND, they are the good kind of "crisp:" Thick, dry, and super crunchy rather than see-through, greasy, and crumbling.

Looks like Spiff has cornered the market. He's got Tim's in America and Walker's in Britain.

You can't eat these ones naked though, if you accidentally touch yourself, you get a 2nd degree burn.

Plain old plain for me please. Ready salted. (How 'convenience food' is that by the way, speaking as someone who remembers salt & shake crisps, and not the revival ones from the 80s I mean, the original ones)
I note an absence of hedgehog flavour, and celery flavour - both of which existed and not just in my tiny mind.

Recently there was a competition by popular crisp makers to come up with new flavours.
The winner was Sunday Roast (The Crispy Bits Left In The Pan).
Runners up included Garlic Bread, Paua Fritters and Butter Chippin.

Well I had to google the last two of those - and I'm none the wiser!

Paua Fritters are standard chip shop fare. I think in the US Paua is Abalone?

Butter Chippin I think is chip butty flavour.

I bet not many can remember chocolate flavour crisps. Came out in the early 90s then swiftly disappeared.
