I am ready for my first haircut since early February. How have all of you managed grooming? Have you been to the barber? How was it?

I broke down and went to a barber. All masked where I went, one way in and one way out, it's a classic barber shop so they did every other seat and there was plenty of spacing (and thus very limited indoor capacity). My biggest complaint is now there's no complementary beer or shot of whiskey after your cut. Ah, well.

I had shaved my head in early May so I’m just a bit shaggy now.

I miss my old place where there was free Dominican rum and at least 5 folks just sort of hanging around. It's the same there and I'd love to go but can't justify the exposure. I've had my head shaved before and was confused for a skinhead so I'm steering from that. I want a haircut outside in the sun but no one seems to be offering that.

My barber shop is basically an unproduced Key and Peele film.

I have a pixie cut, so I've been using clippers. Last time, I kinda hacked it up real good. Oh well. No one cares.

My last haircut was early March just before lockdowns. I usually get a fairly short cut and try and maintain it that way otherwise it goes thru this goofy 1960s Roger Daltrey looking thing. Well I powered thru that and have just been letting it grow. I've kept the beard somewhat in check but Im thinking I'll get it cut when it bothers me enough which Im not seeing happening at this point. Im hoping to go a year or more. We'll see. I would have dome a mohawk early on but my head is full of scars and two moles.

I haven't been to a barber in well over a decade. I've been unconsciously preparing for this for a loooong time.

I gave myself a haircut and it's not great.

I am no longer as fulsome in the lid department as I was in my youth, so I got a clipper and buzz buzz buzzed. Looks fine, if a bit ragged at the neckline.

I can't with the beard. It gets so damn itchy.
