Had a lot of issue with my actual account. But wanted to post something.

I was shocked at this news. Really a shock. I wish he had shared, but that was his choice.

Me and him never got on, I imagine our first, any and last interaction was us disagreeing.

None of that matters end of day as I knew him as long as he was on this site.

Sucks to have not known what was occurring in his life

If a zoom call occurs I would love to be involved, I do not post much around here, but ai read and catch up daily and well I consider myself part of what you have purely for my voyerism

Hard to add anything that hasn't already been said but if his family do ever find this thread they'll see how well liked and respected he was and how his love for his family shone through. That's quite a legacy.

I am just completely shocked and gutted. He was such a lovely man and had a great sense of humor, especially when we would rib him about sheep. I am so sad for his family and especially the fact that, since the Olympics got postponed, he lost out on the opportunity to see his daughter compete. That's just heartbreaking.

So sad to hear this news. He was a top bloke.

I will miss hearing him brag about his very talented kids. I know he loved them so much and was so proud of them.

I've written as much on the online Remembrance Book, and would like to be part of a joint donation to the hospice he designated as a charity.

I can't participate on the Zoom call.

Maybe someone can do a screen capture at the moment y'all raise a toast to him. I'm sure his family would love to see that.

I am so very sorry. This is devastating. Wally was a proper gent, top geezer and all around boss. The best. My deepest condolences to his loved ones and to regular posters who knew Wally better than me.

I just made sardines on toast and remembered the tip he gave me about putting vinegar and pepper on. :approve:
