We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak

Only if I knew that my time there was temporary. My mother sold her house this spring and moved to the town where I was born (and near a couple of my sisters) so I really have no reason to ever go back.tepista wrote:Did you have to smile every time you drove past it?Dr. Medulla wrote:Where I grew up (shockingly, next to no photos of this hole on the Web):

Grew up 1/4 mile away from their complex (which used to be one building, now like 12 or 15 and swallowing up whole street blocks). Who knows how cooked my brain is from years of exposure to those goddamn satellite dishes. Once nearly ran over former Baseball Tonight analyst Dave Campbell when he was jogging by the side of the road on a dangerous curve.
