FAO Tony Hancock fans (aka Tom)

Sweet action for kids 'n' cretins. Marjoram and capers.

Was watching some Poirot last night and there's a bit in The Third Girl where mystery writer/Poirot pal Miss Oliver's latest book is displayed prominently — you may recognize the title:

This is almost as exciting as when I recognized some incidental music from the radio version of Gunsmoke in a Bollywood movie a few years ago.

Great spot! From my favourite Hancock's Half Hour actually. The TV episode just shows off his acting ability to be second to none. The whole gesticulating section in the library where he mimes a book to Sid is hilarious. Must dig out the DVD collection in the new year.

Ever see his film The Rebel? Well worth a go if not.
