Where does Rummie land on the list of evil NeoCons? Below or above Cheney? Anyway, like the hundreds of thousands of innocent people he is responsible for killing, he is also dead.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

My dear friend Enid Cobeo age 61. A talented artist and wonderful human being. She's been in a battle with cancer the 20+ years Ive known her yet one of the most positive people Ive ever known. This hurts Im not looking for sympathy just trying to honor this wonderful woman.

No real difference to me between Rumsfeld and Cheney. Equally despicable figures who should have been hung for war crimes. I might grant Bush an iota of acknowledgement that he may have been motivated by religion in a sincere way—an iota—but Cheney and Rumsfeld were cynical and ruthless. Authoritarians through and through.

Hello,
RIP, Paul Mariner. I was fortunate enough to play with Paul a few years. What a fun guy! I can still hear him laugh. Great player, great person!

Probably way beyond almost anyone else's interest here, but Rick Laird, bassist for the Mahavishnu Orchestra, died a few days ago.
