worst baseball season in history, but at least there's this

We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak

Bill Lee's told a story of, I'm pretty sure, Johnny Bench (might have been Fisk) getting a pitched ball in the nuts, but, worse, his cup had shifted, so half his sack was unprotected. I literally can't imagine the agony.

we tried to show you all 3 types of game we play, the comeback but fall short, the out of it from the first inning, and the can't hold a lead, but you stopped us on the last one.

It's criminal that you have Trout and Ohtani on a seriously mediocre team.

As soon as trout hit that little drop single I knew we were gonna lose. Exciting game tho.

It's an insanely deceptive corner of the outfield.

I've wondered why they can't install lasers on the top of foul poles so there'd be no doubt whether the ball were fair or foul. Laser and a dedicated camera to determine what side of the beam the ball is on. C'mon, NASA, get on this!

Shocking that a 98-year-old manager is unable to adjust or relate to his players. Such a colossal fuckface.
