Hmmm … well, shit.
Fucking Red Sox can't even win when I want them to.

I hate baseball. Any WS with the Astros sucks.

Did I already post Giant Douche vs Turd Sandwich last week? Even if I did, here it is again!

Joe Kelly looks like the bad guy in a generic 70s cop flick.

On this, what may be the last game of the Red Sox season—settle down, Inder, the game ain't been played yet, son :naughty: —I vow to stay up to at least the seventh inning. Unless there's a four-run lead one way or another.

I made it to the seventh. Sure hope my snoozing brings on a late rally. If not, I blame Flex.

In the end, this was who this Sox team were—streaky as fuck. Stallions for a couple weeks, mules for a couple more. I hoped that they had more week of the good in them, but nope. That streakiness kept me from emotionally investing in them, so losing now doesn't really sting. They got an extra 11 games and knocked off division rivals in the process. Not bad.

Go, ugh, National League winner.

Fun season. Beat expectations by a fair amount for what I was planning on this year. I don't think I missed more than 10 or 12 games all season, they were (usually) a fun team to watch and a likeable bunch of players. Went further in the playoffs than I'd dared hope. Hopefully this season is a harbinger of more competitive seasons to come.

Got to see the Sox eliminate the Yankees with my new son, fuckin priceless.

Yeah reminds me of watching the 2003 ALCS series with my daughter. And of course the 1978 playoff game with my uncle.
