Yeah, pretty much this. That and the Astros lost. Amusing that the team with the fewest regular season wins and seemed dead in the water at the mid-point ended up winning it all. Got hot at the right time and never even faced an elimination game during the post-season.

Not surprised that Ohtani won the AL MVP, but am very surprised that Vladdy didn't get any first-place votes. Should have been closer, tho Ohtani is certainly deserving.
