This season has really exposed Boone as an, at best, neutral presence in the dugout. If everything is going well, he won't fuck things up (much), but with a team of underachievers he is incapable of coaxing anything positive from any player, and doesn't make moves that give his team a chance to succeed. He's basically John Farrell.
