Wow I hadn't seen this until just now

How do you not bench a guy for that? One thing the Red Sox and Yankees share this season is incredibly unsound fundamentals. Both teams play like they're infected with brain parasites.
Yeah the level of play for some of these guys is awful. And I dont get not benching Sanchez either its not like he's knocking the shit out of the ball. He used to be pretty good at throwing out baserunners but now he's just an all around liability. At this point you're not even getting anything for him in a trade.

Those photos he has of Cashman and Boone dismembering orphans have been invaluable.

That's as likely an explanation as any. But seriously how do you even look your teammates in the eye after that.

That's something I've wondered about the unvaxxed players, especially in the Red Sox case, where guys are dropping seemingly every day. It's exposed the whole idea of team unity and responsibility. All those fuckers are saying they're cool with making another teammate ill.

So apparently if I bash on a player enough they rise to the occasion.

Doesn't count when it's a Yankees-Twins game. The Twins choke with a consistency that would make the Black Sox blush.

i'm well over the fact that the boston red stockings blew a massive lead in the division in the second half of the season and new enjoying this ridiculously competitive wild card race. All of these are really good teams and it's this kind of scenario where the 2 wild card slot setup really pays off.

A five-way tie after #162 would be entertaining, assuming it means multiple play-in games. What a massive nutpunch if a team survived several play-in games then lost the WC game. Given that the Rays are clearly the best team in the AL, I'm all for chaos at the WC level to add some kind of mustard to the playoffs.

The only AL East team the Yankees have a winning record against is the Zeroes, and that's 11-8. Pee-yew.

Well the Red Sox wore some of the ugliest uniforms ever the other night. I was at a bar and thought it was some minor league team on the TV.

Those things are worse than when teams try a “future uniform.” They wore them for a series in April, then brought them back for unholy reasons, and have been undefeated in them, so they can't take them off. For a team with a nice and simple classic design, those things are especially hideous.

I like the uniforms. And I like winning in 'em.
