well, there haven't been many genuinely unpleasant games to watch this season so far, but that was one of them. Ah, well. There'll be more here and there.

The Sox have a chance to be fun this season. I'm not looking for much more than that.

That's all I ever want now. Championships are bonus, not the goal for me. And I'm certainly warming up to a lot of players on this team.

Ha! I'd add something about the stupid no facial hair policy, but that's fantastic.

Compiled at the end of the season, they'd make a nice souvenir book.

Today the Red Sox face a pitcher named Flexen. Gonna be really easy to hate on the opposition.

That's a "fair ball" and we lose. The system doesn't work.

I saw that this morning. There is zero excuse for replay umps to fuck up that badly. Besides, if tennis can use cameras to determine whether a ball is in or out, why can't baseball?

Pujols has 666 HRs, time to retire.

Isn't he some kind of freaky fundamentalist? You'd think he'd retire at 665 so as to not offend Jebus.

In Anaheim there's a giant metal count-board. We're in game 3 of a 10 game road trip, so i gotta hope he goes homerless for 7 games to see it up on the board. He's capable of that.
