I read about that the other day. It's remarkable how farmers who rely on immigrant labour would vote for someone who explicitly said he's going to expel those workers. Selective listening really is a thing.
And yet...
Despite his concerns about the immigration crackdown, Dustin Machia says he doesn’t regret voting for Trump. “I’d still do it again. I like a lot of his policies,” Machia said. “I feel he’s more for the rural people like us, the middle-class type person.”

Similar post-Brexit vibe with all the fruit and vegetables rotting in the fields because the people who picked it (lazy good for nothing EU migrants) were all barred while, remarkably, the incredibly diligent and hard working Brexiteers didn't seem to be able to pick up the slack for some unfathomable, hard to decipher reason.

Who could have predicted such a thing? say the people who ignored the warnings.

So sad that even while getting punched in the face some people can't come around to the idea that they were wrong/made a mistake.

When trumpism/brexit/other far right scam inevitably fails, it'll either be because unpatriotic lefty doomerism condemned it to defeat or those charged with implementing it just didn't go in hard enough. That they might have possibly perhaps maybe got it wrong a tad never enters the equation.

Brutal right-wing dogma, like Marxism, can never fail on its own merits; people can only fail it.

Hello,

Crows are much more suburban/urban. Additionally, crows are a bit more scavenger - they'll eat the squirrel that was run over wherever. Ravens are a bit more selective - they'll go after the squirrel but in a much less crowded area.
