Is your home a lakefront property? I feel like I've been oblivious to something quite obvious for some time now.

No, that's all public space. Im a 5 min walk from there though. Actual lakefront property is insanely expensive.

I don't think it will this year mid Januaryand its mostly open water. Its been probably 5 years. I need to check over at the bay that tends to freeze every year. The last time it really froze good I walked out a good half mile or so before I got "cold feet" and turned back.

The canal here only opened for skating/walking/whatever yesterday. Easily the latest in the season since we moved here.
