Friends? Plural? You dont know me very well.
Well, between me and Doc that's at least two.
Do either of us actually count?
Sure, I'll count you as Phish fans.
Well, I have been known to listen to shitty music on every occasion!

A friend of ours is a noted indigenous writer and she mentioned once meeting Irving at some kind of awards banquet. This might have been late 70s, maybe early 80s. She didn't really know anything about him—he was a writer of some kind, but that was it—but they both snuck out at the same time for a smoke. She said he was a very funny and charming guy.

A novel about ski chairlifts (I assume)? I'm in.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Low visibility. Normally you can see the Adirondacks in the background.

Is your home a lakefront property? I feel like I've been oblivious to something quite obvious for some time now.

No, that's all public space. Im a 5 min walk from there though. Actual lakefront property is insanely expensive.

Ah, okay. We're adjacent to a wealthy neighbourhood, so I can stroll in and seem like I'm terrible, too.

I'm shivering just looking at it. I'm dreading it when I run in the morning and it's in the 40's!

I relish the fear that Californians have of weather.

Burlington has done a good job of keeping a lot of lakefront property public.
