I love the narrative that Californians are flooding the following states and driving up real estate prices: Texas, Idaho, and Oregon.
Out here it's Massachusetts (Me) and New York (Bride) who are accused interlopers. We are.
In CT? What horseshit. Here in VT Im a "flatlander"

I'm legit bummed to hear you guys are headed out down Texas way. I wanted you to meet my wife so you can knock it off with that damn bit. (Covid kinda wrecked that.)

HAHA.

Well, our house sold officially the day before I quit my job, and our bid for a house in Austin Colony (sounds like a cult) was accepted this morning. So officially, Austin is drowning and I live by the (Colorado) river.

Well, according to that map it's "Hornsby Bend" where everyone listens to Bruce Hornsby on the Range. (get it? on the RANGE?)
We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak

You'll be kinda out by my friend Coop (@artofcoop) I think. You guys should hang out. Another LA punk lifer who betrayed our frankly perfect state that is also the only place where it's legal to eat tacos.

Congrats on the new homestead, like CordwoodRep, kinda bummed to learn we're sorta neighbors but never got a chance to go check out some bands together.

Not real big on Goth, closest I ever came was seeing the Cure way, way back in 1981 at Perkins Palace.

If i recall the headliners, besides Morrissery, is Bauhaus, Blondie, DEVO, Echo and the Bunnymen among others. Bought the tix over 2 years ago! Actually, that's not true, bought them, got refunded, and had to buy them again
