Fudge. This year's team finally killed his enthusiasm.

On 20 June, the Yankees were 50-17; since then, 20-22. That's seven weeks of mediocrity. Just sayin' is all.

Rats. I think a few of the additions to the booth this year have been promising - youk, particularly - but Eck was perfect. Can't imagine it's much fun without Remy and with this this team on the field.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

Imagine, being swept by a team with a Civil War vet in the line-up. Shameful.

Every time I talk to the VHs about either Pujols or Molina, I make them several years older than the last time. They are both now in their 80s. Drives them both nuts, so my work here is done.

 A former friend did that with James Gandolfini (sp?), he looked much older than he actually was. So every time he came up, JG got progressively young. Can you believe a guy who's 19 is playing Tony Soprano?

He just got younger and younger, Benjamin Button style, and vanished.

Lou Piniella ain't managing them anymore; he doesn't need to know that stuff.
