I thought some Photoshoppery was at work, but unless you can fake date those things, it's a legit prediction. In which case, this guy might be a sinister wizard. Cool that the Yankees drought is gonna be over two decades, tho.
Did the Braves win last year?

Also Orioles LOL
Yes and, hey, anything can happen in seven years.
The Mariners twicec is a stretch too

If the Phillies win the WS, not dumb to throw $20 on the Mariners for 2023 right away to see if he's actually a wizard.

Hello,

Speaking as a Sport Psychologist, yeah, not a bright idea to pay that guy for mental skills coaching.

Yeah, Kay's Lincoln analogy is a bit out there but why would you pick highlights of your team (none of the same players now but still) losing is an example of not knowing your audience. I wish Gardner was on the team this year because there would no doubt have been "some words".

I was stoked to see my boys on there. We've been garbage forever.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

MLB Network is showing Game 5 of the 1980 NLCS between the Phillies and Astros right now. Best of all, Cosell calls it. I love that son of a bitch.

edit: They just oohed and aahed about a Nolan Ryan fastball that clocked at 98 mph.

I hate fox, and I chuckle to these non-national-interest matchups like everyone else, but part of me feels conflicted because I'm also not really sure cheering all-time disinterest in the marquee event of the sport I love the most is really great for the future of the game. That said, I won't be watching.
I feel exactly the same. However whether I watch and care or not about this year's series really will have zero effect on the future of the game. If still breathing, I will be ready for next season and will watch because i'm a chump at heart and baseball is my fave (hockey number 2). If the sport really cared about its future it would stop pandering to the people who can't be bothered to sit for 3-4 hours and watch a game because they have social media brain patterns and instead make the game more accessible to people in general. Having 3 or more different streaming partners is ridiculous, for one example. There is so much that could be done to make the game better without changing the strategy and gameplay but they are more interrested in pandering to TV and streaming partners (chasing the money in other words) to give a shit about the game or the fans. Pitch clocks? Seriously? How ridiculous. Baseball is not a timed sport. The whole idea of a pitch clock is absurd.

Oh and for the record, phuck fox, I hope they lose many millions.
From what I see there's still a little hope
That's if we don't hang from too much rope

I'd love to know what dirt he has on Steinbrenner.
