Went looking to see if Morrissey had made a comment, but found all these rebels: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/ge ... narch.html
This can't be for any kind of public image, they really feel this way.
Probably, or at least in the vast majority, but if you're a shallow PR-conscious entertainer, it makes sense to say the right thing. There has to be some calculation in some of the statements.
Sure but I kinda feel like they could have just not said anything and nobody would notice.
 Yeah, about social media and celebrities …

I've seen the Stones documentary a few times. Oh, I've seen Breathless and 400 Blows, probably 30 and 15 years ago.

My contempt is tempered somewhat—but only somewhat—by the fact that Bill Clinton was/is a predator and probable rapist. Having that exposed wasn't a bad thing (plus it also ended up dragging down Gingrich).

Cristobal Jodorowsky, sometimes known as Axel, son of Alejandro and star of Santa Sangre (1989) dies at 57.

He doesn't have a lot of acting credits, but he starred in one of the best movies of all time, horror or otherwise. If anyone needs an excuse to see this wonderful film, it currently streams on multiple platforms (SHUDDER, TUBI, Midnight Pulp, possibly others)

Rip Hilary Mantel. Will miss her terribly on the selfish basis I'll never get to anticipate another brilliant novel from her.

She never should have become Kai. And if you know what I'm talking about, Shatner wants you to get a life.

She deserved the Oscar she got for that role.
