Ronnie Spector
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

2022 rolling hard. Saget, Portier, now Ronnie.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Ronnie Spector had a lot of great songs, but what about her brief comeback with the Money Man?

Eddie Money's music is just so horrible.

In general, I strongly agree. I enjoyed hearing Take Me Home Tonight again just now tho – thanks Westway. Late summer of being 14 years old I guess. Haven’t heard that song in several decades. And now I’m good for a couple decades more without hearing it.

It's also a song that always takes me back (I hear it at the grocery store a lot). Crazy to think about how big Eddie Money was for a brief period.

Ronnie used to play in rock clubs in NYC back in the 90's, I saw her with Joey Ramone doing a Christmas show. It was pretty magical

This wasn't a Christmas show, it was one of Joey's local shows that he was doing after the Ramones ended. The Christmas show I saw was at a club called LIFE which is now Le Poussin Rouge.

Damn, Ronnie looked really good in that video.

Also that song is massive. Yeah it has that overproduced 80s sheen, but it's such a good hook and riff. I can't not like it.

Also LOL @Steve Van Zandt taking credit for her career resurrection and not this song.
