Animation Roulette

If you were to let fate pick an episode of an animated comedy series—any episode from any season; you have no way of knowing what it’ll be—what series do you go for if you want to be entertained?

It can vary. I rarely choose one anymore other than the regularly scheduled new Bob's Burgers episodes. But I can easily fall into a classic Simpsons. KoTH and Futurama are high on my list as well if they are on. Not included in your list but perhaps should be Regular Show and Adventure Time. Its funny now that repeats are available more or less on demand I rarely take advantage of that. Usually it ends up being my son watching something (like KoTH this past long weekend) and I join in because I have nothing else going on.

Adventure Time.
When rewatching these episodes I will often times catch something I missed the first time around. Plus it's so off the wall insane at times, what a show.

Hah, seriously I wasn't trying to start WW3 here, just a straight observation. In fact, I'm trying to think of the last truly great satirical tv show here and drawing a blank there too.

I had to go with King Of The Hill, Simpsons years ago, but no so much anymore.

I haven't voted but I'm torn between BB and KotH. While neither have had the peaks of other series, the consistency is what impresses me. There just hasn't been the trough of staying-too-long or growing pains.

I wont say I haven't had a good laugh while watching Family Guy but I definitely feel like its been farmed for all its worth and even at its best I feel it was never as good as the others

Futurama. I love the characters and the humor. Even the revival episodes maintain a baseline of quality such that I wouldn't worry about seeing any random episode.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

I've seen some of the early episodes and the only character I liked was the dog. Stewie?
