There was a dude who lived a life in turmoil from start to finish. That he made it to 89 is kind of remarkable.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop

He also claimed to have been systematically abused by both parents, locked in a closet much of the time and regularly beaten. Not to excuse his own violence as an adult, but he was set off on a rough path early on. Not the kind of person who is likely to die of natural causes at an old age.revbob wrote: ↑10 Mar 2023, 8:04amFrom the Daily NewsDr. Medulla wrote: ↑09 Mar 2023, 9:25pmThere was a dude who lived a life in turmoil from start to finish. Wow, I thought he died years ago. I just know him from the 90s classic Lost Highway.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Neither have I. Really, I only know him from Baretta (and all the nasty stuff of his life).

I did watch a fair amount of Baretta as a kid. I think the opening theme/sequence was probably the best part though.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑10 Mar 2023, 10:23amNeither have I. Really, I only know him from Baretta (and all the nasty stuff of his life).
Stupid youtu.be doesn't have it with the vocals. Did I imagine that? I know the fucking words from somewhere.
Im not crazy... at least not for remembering the song with the vocals as the intro.

Yeah but none of the action sequence and various disguises. I want both at the same time.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑10 Mar 2023, 11:11amrevbob wrote: ↑10 Mar 2023, 11:00amI did watch a fair amount of Baretta as a kid.
