Of all the Beatles books I've consumed, I don't have a memory of that name whatsoever.
Jimmie Nicol is still alive, tho. For the sake of weirdness, I'd like him to be the last Beatle standing.

Chas had been a member of the Quarrymen and in December 1960 played a handful of gigs with The Beatles while Stu Sutcliffe was working on his art.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 8:10amOf all the Beatles books I've consumed, I don't have a memory of that name whatsoever.

Somewhere, there has to be someone who thinks the band was better with Chas in it. Sure, it might have been a relative of his, but still.Marky Dread wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 8:18amChas had been a member of the Quarrymen and in December 1960 played a handful of gigs with The Beatles while Stu Sutcliffe was working on his art.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 8:10amOf all the Beatles books I've consumed, I don't have a memory of that name whatsoever.

No love for Pete's Best Sandwiches, which at its peak had shops in both Cardiff and Dover?Marky Dread wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 8:46amEasily the best sandwich maker the group ever had.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 8:38amSomewhere, there has to be someone who thinks the band was better with Chas in it. I went to Pete's shop in Dover. I bought an Egg and Cress sandwich but I thought it was slightly over egged. And when I found out he didn't stock my favourite crisps I quickly left.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 8:51amNo love for Pete's Best Sandwiches, which at its peak had shops in both Cardiff and Dover?Marky Dread wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 8:46amEasily the best sandwich maker the group ever had.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 8:38amSomewhere, there has to be someone who thinks the band was better with Chas in it.
