Somebody should have AI create a 4 hour jello Biafra spoken word album.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Re: AI-yi-yi
lmao
Addendum: There's probably a lesson here in how quickly and totally we trust and get reliant on technology. But, again, lmao.

After reading a bit and chatting with colleagues, I'm going to try a different tact with the AI monster in a history seminar I expect to teach next year. Instead of the usual term paper, I'm going to have students propose a research topic, then have an AI bot write a paper on that topic. I'll give the student that fake paper and have them critique it, which will require doing research to generate a persuasive critique. It's about, as I've read, demonstrating the limitations of AI while highlighting the superiority of human critical skills.

Much as I've enjoyed a number of Simon Winchester's books, this is a baffling collection of words: https://archive.ph/8Xa99

Hello,
Interesting: "I've come to the conclusion that the kind of intelligence we're developing is very different from the intelligence we have."

Heard about this a few weeks back. Once again, it comes back to undermining our capacity to assess information. But, hey, AI means more leisure time!

I like the suggestion of using code words. Pretty soon we're not going to know who to trust. Wheeeee! Good times.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑02 May 2023, 7:25pmHeard about this a few weeks back.
