Fuck. Such a funny, low-key guy. He didn't make the big leap to Hollywood like other SCTV alum, but he was their equal in every way.

Larry Lucchino of Red Sox infamy.

He had his pros and cons, to say the least, but in retrospect he had a commitment to winning and belief that the red Sox should be able to consistently field a marquee team that I think the ownership group lost a bit when he left. Insofar as we credit ownership for any titles at all, he deserves a nod for ending the drought and really good stretch for the club. That doesn't negate some of his shittier tendencies, but I prefer him to RedBird Capital, anyways.
