Re: The Kaleb Horton Deceased Latvian Foreign Minister Thread, 2025 Edition
Just seen that David Thomas has gone. Always liked the idea of Pere Ubu more than listened to them. Didn't realise that he lived in Brighton now. Sadly I found out the other day that an old friend that I haven't seen for about 40 years has terminal cancer. I remember sitting in his bedroom playing The Art of Walking and laughing along to Misery Goats. Getting old sucks.

This one hurts. I love early Cheers and Norm was one of those characters who never got on my nerves and always made me laugh. George's delivery of those one liners was a master class in comedy.

Loved Cheers, and Norm, so much. From regular intake on syndication to doing an episode episode watch on streaming. A complete bedrock of my life.

24 points to Flex, too. Only the third successful pick this year (collectively, we put our eggs in the authoritarian basket).

Rewatched the first 5 series of Cheers last year and my absolute favourite scene/episode is the one where Norm tells everyone he's heading off on holidays and makes it as far as Sam's office. Had me laughing my ass off. RIP Norm.

Hello,
RIP, Norm. Hopefully you're not wearing milk-bone underwear in the after-life.

Sad to hear Norm has gone. Loved Cheers back in the day. RIP George.
