Lmao, after signing his extension. The Braves got Sale'd.

I think Chip Caray is a smug dink, but this is such a nothing burger. His tongue slipped while trying to say flag. Big deal.

Good matchup today. Paul Skenes going up against Jacob Misiorowski, Milwaukee's flame throwing phenom. Mizz possesses a 96 mph slider. His first 11 innings as a major league pitcher were hitless - a record.

Is there a lousier, more incompetent owner than John Fisher? The Magic 8-Ball says no.

Absolute king of the loathsome sport owner class (mlb division, leastways). My gut says he thought he was playing a game of chicken with Oakland and that he'd get a desperate city so over the barrel that he could get them to give him money and considerations beyond anything normally imaginable, and when that didn't really happen he convinced himself that it actually made sense to move and played it out to try to save face so broke off the relationship with Oakland and tried to control the spin as it being the city's fault and decamping to Vegas. Everything after that is a mix of extremely short sighted thinking, a lot of pettiness and a LOT of completely wishful thinking.

Anyways, we live in a meritocracy or whatever.

Kevin Pillar retires. I mention this only because—and I can't remember where I came across it—someone once said his name was what Kevin Millar would have come up with as a fake name when being arrested.

I mean, to that point, have we ever seen them on the same field together?

They're baseball's version of Stephen King's The Dark Half. Which one is the evil side, tho, is a real pick 'em.

Matt Barnes is pitching for the Savannah Bananas at Fenway right now. I love it.

He takes in the scene. Memories flood back. He looks at the Wall and the bullpen. He wonders if hitters can still launch his pitches over both.
