As a long time Brendan Rodgers man am chuffed to see leicester right back up at the business end. Think its the perfect place for it, hope he stays.
For me the real irony this season would be Leicester beating Liverpool to the title with Rodgers. I think he would be pretty much hated in the red side of Liverpool after almost getting there with the reds.

Would be fair achievement for them to last out the season as contenders, outstrip even 2016 i would think. Champions league spot would be very acceptable, just hope he doesnt go to arsensl.

Not sure how Liverpool fans see him, do they hold it against him? My memory of his time there is that cringey Being Liverpool doc and the envelope. Think he's learned a bit of humility from that and is a better manager for it.

I don't know how they see Brendan but if he managed to beat Liverpool to the title then I think I know how he would be viewed.

Forget your Aguerrrrroooooo last second goal to win the league, this is the greatest PL moment for me (outside of my own team winning stuff of course)

I get a little Reddy-Brek glow around my soul whenever I see it mentioned.

Because I am outside UK I get every game live through telecom provider app.

Lol

The Gerard slip is your moment.

Lol

Sums it up. My highlights are..,well highlights for my team

The lows of others are about a million miles from my highlights.

Glad to add another difference to the list.

Maybe you missed the part where I added "outside of my own team winning stuff of course." And since my own team is Chelsea I get a double on that one anyway.

But everything about the slip is perfect. From Gerrard saying "this does not slip" the week before... to Liverpool bringing out all their old players for their "coronation"... to Jose Mourinho looking like he'd got straight out of bed after a heavy night drinking and not bothering to wash or shave... and then picking half the reserves.
Then we had the Chelsea time-wasting almost from the first whistle... playing it around in defence before going back to Schwarzer who would hit the ball long to the touchline where the ball would go out of play.
Then the slip. After saying "this does not slip." Did I mention that? And on went 3rd choice striker Demba Ba, with his knees made of glass, to slot home the opening goal. In added time after Chelsea time wasting.

Of course, Gerrard tried to make up for it by shooting from every perceivable angle... ruining good chances for better placed players in the process.

The icing on the cake was Torres setting up a second goal a few minutes after coming on as a sub and Jose running down the touchline banging his chest.

That Suarez goal this weekend was insane:
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
