Anyone in the UK who fancies a pint after 10 o'clock just nip down to parliament. There's no curfew or signing in.

Oh yeah but only because those fuckers got caught out and not for the first time. I'm sick of their bullshit. They make little or no effort to be of the people.

Aldi's take on Scrumpy. Very drinkable cider, making the most of evenings sat in the garden. Won't be many more this year now

Back on the Paddy's tonight. I celebrate with beer but for me with whiskey comes sadness or sadness comes with whiskey.

When I was a big time user in my NYC days I could drink a whole bottle Cruzan at least twice a week. I wasn't particularly happy. Beer makes me happy and I don't get heartburn either.

I had a bunch of whiskey a few weeks back and oh boy did the hangover hurt.

So the little lady was visiting the homeland and brought back 5 or 6 bottles of rum. I think I handle rum better than whiskey.

What a treat. Why I just bought the 1 I'll never know. Should've known it was good given the name! Great film, even better beer. This one packs a punch.

Weird, I had no idea JW Lees made non barrel aged stuff. We only get the (usually delicious) casked caramel toffee juice out here.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
