It appears this has become a beer thread, but in honor of getting hurricane'd tomorrow, I'm going to pick up some rum and ginger beer and make dark and stormys.
Nowhere near a hurricane (stay safe, man) but you've implanted a very good idea in my brain. Loves me a Dark and Stormy.

Right down the street. In normal time they have a great cocktail bar.

I think it originally was the "Thread O'Beer REVIVED" but we made it generally fermented sugar beverage related.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

It's good but a bit over priced ($35 for a 750). I kind of bought it on a whim a few weeks back. I really can't taste a huge difference between this and a $17 bottle of Haitian or Dominican I usually get.

That's some good rot-gut. I recommend using it for a hot whiskey/hot toddy in colder seasons.

In the garden, end of the week, headphones in with some still perry. It's ok but a little too sweet for me, like perry/cider/wine as dry as possible.

A coworker thanked me for helping him out with stuff (as opposed to going thru channels) and got me a mixed 12 pack of Sierra Nevada. Half of it is IPAs so Ill be giving those away. Having a regular old pale ale from it though and thats good

Good shout on the IPAs. Can't be doing with that overwhelming fruity, zesty, whatever flavour.

I gave up on the perry and opted for this. Only 3.7% but so so tasty.
