Spring and summer are beer seasons for me; fall and winter I switch to spirits. At least drinking at home. I'll still order beer at restaurants.
I'm taking a break from the hard stuff. It's too easy for me to have too much and feel lousy the next day. Beer gives me a nice buzz and I get full before I take too much.
Yeah, a lesson I learned in high school yet one I still seem destined to revisit from time to time. I also tend to sleep like shit.

[October through April is stout & porter season for me.
January thru December for me. I never say no to a good stout or porter. I still have plenty of ales and lagers but the dark stuff is my real love.

Nice strong Polish lager. 4 for £5, no complaints with that. Cheers all.

Ive got some of those in the beer fridge right now. A neighbor knows the people at Zero Gravity and they gave a bunch of beer to people in honor of Loving Day last June.

I picked up this today, a nice local porter.

Supping a little vodka from the freezer, lovely and smooth. Eases the first world problem of our holiday to Butlins being cancelled, fair enough given the new circumstances but apparently the whole house needs redecorating. What a week off, much sooner be in work.

Mother in Law sent us a $150 bottle of champagne, to be honest, I don't believe I've ever had any that was worth over $30 or $40. No Dom for me! Gonna drink it tonight, I'll report back.

I've gotta tell ya, that super bubbly shit is not for me. It's like a recipe for a night ruining case of hiccups.

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a Rye-PA (as opposed to an IPA) that's quality and easily available in North Carolina?
